Dr. Colin King is a highly experienced Clinical and Forensic Psychologist with more than 25 years of experience. He is an expert clinician with the ability to interview, test, and analyze medical and psychological data and forensic cases for the purpose of providing insight into various psychological conditions. Dr. King is also a leading expert in the field of traumatic brain injury and criminality, psychopathology, and abnormal behaviors. Dr. King has led diverse teams of professionals to new levels of success in a variety of highly competitive industries, cutting-edge markets, and fast-paced environments. His strong clinical qualifications with an impressive track record of years of hands-on experience in clinical evaluations, psychological testing, recovery counseling, pain management, mentoring students, developing clinical programs, and supervising interns have been an asset to the forensic field.

Malcolm Cort, PhD

Dr. Malcolm Cort is a graduate of Loma Linda University in California, and Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, where he earned a Ph.D. in Sociology. Dr. Cort is presently a Professor of Sociology at Athens State University in Alabama, USA. Dr. Cort is a Sociologist who has studied and lectured on many social phenomena and social constructs. Dr. Cort is also an expert on family dynamics and has studied and lectured on race relations, implicit bias, mass incarceration, and social and institutional dysfunction.

Dr. Mary Newton, PhD, LMSW, CCM, CBIST, CCFC

Dr. Mary Newton has worked in healthcare for more than 20 years, focusing on rehabilitation of adults with ABI and SCI. Dr. Newton has worked in a variety of settings, providing mental health services and counseling to a vast array of patients. She began her career as a case manager and mental health therapist and spent 13 years at Rainbow
Rehabilitation Centers. In addition to her clinical work, she was an adjunct professor of psychology at Baker College of Michigan for seven years.

 

Dr. Newton is a Certified Brain Injury Specialist and trainer, and a Certified Clinical Forensic Counselor. Dr. Newton was elected to the board of directors for the Brain injury Association of Michigan in May of 2023, and was the recipient of the 2021 Brain Injury Association of Michigan Education Award for her efforts on promoting brain injury education to audiences all over the country.
